We Are Living Life in Sunny California

Vacation Edition of Journal in a Box

by Yvonne Root on September 5, 2012

Have you ever wondered what the Journal Guides do while they are on vacation?

Well, have fun, of course!

And one of the ways we have fun is – (drum roll, please) writing in our journals. One of the things we were excited about for this trip, we have a new Journal in a BoxTM edition. You might think we designed and produced the Vacation Edition just so we could use it for this trip.

Truth is, we had more than one request for just such a journal.

One of the ways you can use the Vacation Edition is to let each family member write about their experiences on a different day.

Today was my day

That picture up there is a piece of what I wrote. It has been great to live life here in Sunny California.

There are many different ways this edition can be used by you and the people you love.

Try this:

Tell us some different ways the Journal in a BoxTM Vacation Edition can be used. (We love to hear all your creative ideas.)

What fun to meet Tonya and Joe in person and share a local secret spot with them. Also fun to hear about your many traveling adventures over the years. I like to keep a specific trip journal when I travel, so that I can easliy go back and read about that experience and the souvenirs. If I visit the same place I can check out business cards and reviews and go back to favorite places. Somehow, I get off to a great start, but then, when the trip is about half finished, I get overwhelmed with participating and don’t do a good job of finishing my notes and pasting in. I can see how it works well for you folks to do TEAM journaling. :-)

Thanks so much for sharing Saffron and your knowledge of the area with us! We really enjoyed our time with you and hope that we’ll get to see you again on future trips out this way. Yes, the team journaling is fun for so many reasons – one of which is that it reduces burnout. Great point!
