The Shocking Truth About Life Before Death

I’m not at all concerned about life after death. I’m energetically charged with thoughts about life before death.

I’m Gonna Live!

If you skipped the video you’ll miss the point of this article. You’ve got to listen to my friend Chris Commisso’s song. Then you’ll get it. Before we get to the point of this article I need to tell you that I’ve enjoyed listening to Chris play and sing for more than a decade. I’ve always loved all his work.

But this song.

Yes, this song. The song you’ve just watched and listened to (so you’ll get it,) this song could have been written as a theme song for Journal in a BoxTM.

The important message

So, first I’m going to talk about the song. This upbeat, a-cappella piece has a message which swings into your heart, stuns you, hugs you tight then flings you out with only one message – Live!

The lyrics remind you some people die young. Some people die young without ever reaching for the sky. As sobering as those lyrics are they are followed hard on with an even more devastating set of circumstances.

Some people die old without ever reaching for the sky.

Journal in a BoxTM theme song

Now that I’ve discussed the song, I’ll tell you why this song could be the theme song for Journal in a BoxTM.

Journal in a BoxTM was born with a passion for helping people tell their life stories. But there is more to it than that.

We’ve learned, through experience, that when you are reporting on your life on a regular basis there is a built in nudge to experience life in greater depth.

When you go for walks, you’re more likely to notice the lonely blossom dashing ahead of all its neighbors to unfold because you will have a snippet to include in your journal.

When you take a trip you are more attuned to the big events as well as the small events, the people, the food, the circumstances because you will be writing about your days.

When you have a baby you are excited about getting every detail of the firsts, the cutes, the endearings and the fantastics in your journal.

And there is more – reaching for the sky

Journal in a BoxTM dares to help you reach for the sky because we are passionate about not only helping you tell your story but also showing you ways to enhance your story.

Your journal becomes your instructor, your cheerleader, your confidante, your coach and your brain aid when you dare to reach for the sky.

You have dreams, thoughts, desires, ambitions, yearnings and aspirations.

So what are you doing about it? Do you have a plan of action? Do you know what your next step is? Have you thought about it? Have you written about it? Have you stood on the edge yet?

When you decide you are going to reach for the sky there is no better way to prepare, plan and execute than with your handwritten journal.

=========================

As a lover of words, pens, paper and the dictionary I'm a natural for journal writing. But, I wasn't always faithful to the task and had to learn the hard way. Some trial and error as well as input from my journal writing friends helped move me along. I have a burning desire to help people who want to use and get the most out of their journals and diaries. I see journal writing as a self improvement tool and a way to avoid costly mistakes, bad relationships and my stinky-self. Finding my kindly self is part of the journey which keeps me writing. I Journalate and so can you.
